First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Novonesis.
Business Development Manager
It was quite time consuming and slow, with five rounds of interview. The process included meeting with the hiring manager, discussing salary expectations and role excitement, meeting other stakeholders, personality assessments, and a test debrief with HR and the hiring manager. I got rejected after 3 months of the process.
- Would you require any visa sponsorship or support from us?
- What are your salary expectations?
- How excited are you about this role?
Data Analyst
I had a very professional and welcoming interview process. It included one personal call, a behavioral interview, and a case study. The interviewers were very coordinated and provided quick answers to any questions. Communication was primarily through email and phone, with the interviews taking place in person.
- Can you discuss your background?
- What are your aspirations?
- What skills do you possess?
Talent Acquisition Partner
I had a screen call and then a 1st round interview, both with the same Talent Acquisition Partner. The feedback was quick after the screen call, which I liked. But after the 1st round, they said I'd get feedback in 1-2 days, like before. A few extra days went by, so I emailed the recruiter, but got no response. I sent two more emails over the next two weeks, still nothing. I know companies don't always give detailed feedback, but getting no reply at all, not even an acknowledgment, is disappointing. You'd think they'd want to make the process smooth and stick to their word, especially when hiring for their own team.
- Tell me about a time you handled conflict.
Data Scientist
So basically they're more focused on what you can actually do skill-wise, even though the interview seems to be geared towards personality stuff. They'll ask about your social skills and things, but you're supposed to connect that back to your actual abilities and qualifications. They give you a problem to solve to see your IQ and how you handle unexpected challenges. For me, the question was about figuring out how many cubes are inside a 10x10 Rubik's cube. They weren't looking for a super precise math answer, but more about your approach to the situation.
- Can you discuss your personal attributes and how they relate to your qualifications?
- Can you also discuss your concrete skills?
