At Novatech, we really dig into your tech skills, especially SQL, how you solve problems, and if you can actually use what you know. Expect questions about your previous work, designing databases, making things run faster, and some 'what if' situations. We'll also test your logic with case studies or tech rounds. Then, an HR chat to see how you talk, work with others, and if you'll vibe with us. It's all about knowing your stuff and explaining it clearly.

Got into the interview process through a recruiter. First spoke with the General Manager, then two hiring managers. Right after meeting the hiring managers, I was told I'd get good news. After waiting a few days, I was informed an offer was coming, but they needed to finish other interviews. Then, one of the hiring managers called me, mistaking me for a customer needing pricing, and didn't know who I was until I reminded her. She said someone would contact me soon, and that was it. About another week later, they told my recruiter they were passing. After being told they would extend an offer, it's understandable they need to do what's best for them. However, the end of this process was really unprofessional. They not only overpromised but also failed to contact me or email to say they chose a different direction.

Behavioral Other

This was a long interview process with no appreciation for your time. You'll spend a lot of time in this process. You will likely be asked very personal questions to pre-qualify you. If you are a current smoker, do not even begin to apply or let alone interview. I was told I should not have made it to the last round of interviews, because they do not hire anyone who smokes.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Do you smoke?
  • Also, do you take prescription medication?
