Behavioral Technical

I had a not-so-great experience here. The recruiter was a bit too casual for my taste, not as professional as I'd hoped. The product interview felt more like a consulting session. The manager did explain the next steps clearly at the end and promised quick feedback, which was nice. But then, nothing. I followed up multiple times, and the recruiter kept saying they were waiting on the manager and would let me know ASAP. It left me confused and feeling pretty negative about the whole thing.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Standard screening questions, and also regarding your preferred employment location.
  • In the product interview, can you share details about your previous work experience?

Technical Presentation

The HR team was friendly, and so was the interviewer. I liked their content and could see they cared about quality. However, they asked me to create a full sample lesson, which they didn't mention beforehand and didn't reimburse me for, which was weird. They didn't ask any questions about the sample work. The interviewer rescheduled, which is a red flag. The interview questions were basically asking for content ideas, and the interviewer wrote down every idea I gave, which felt strange. They enthusiastically asked if I had more questions to email later, but my follow-up email was never replied to, which felt unprofessional. I got a rejection email a few days later. The HR said they had US-based people, but the interviewer said that wasn't true, so some things felt untruthful. I felt like they just used me for free ideas and a free lesson.

  • What components are essential for any lesson?
