First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nouria.
Procurement Manager
The initial phone interview, conducted via Teams, was quite straightforward. The interviewer was pleasant and demonstrated a strong understanding of the job. They were flexible in scheduling, and the conversation lasted about half an hour.
- Can you explain how your previous experience relates to the available role?
Front End Cashier
The interview process was quite straightforward. I had the chance to be interviewed by Marie, the manager, who was fantastic. She really knew her stuff, and I was impressed working with her.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
- Do you have any work restrictions?
- What are your responsibilities in terms of work duties?
Creative Lead
Applied in late October. On a Saturday morning, I got an email asking me to pick some times for a standard 30-minute phone screen. I responded with options right away, but heard nothing. I followed up a couple of days later, still no response. Then I tried reaching out on LinkedIn, no luck. After several days of silence, I contacted a higher-up at the company via LinkedIn to see what was going on, still no answer. Finally, I got a call to schedule the original phone screen, which I had scheduled for a few days prior. The 30-minute interview went well, and they told me I was their top candidate, and that an interview with the hiring manager would be set up. I sent a thank you note that day. A few days later, I followed up asking for updates on the next steps. I kept getting the run-around about the hiring manager's availability. The interview with the hiring manager was finally scheduled for a few days later. I interviewed with the hiring manager, and it went well. We talked about the next steps, which would be an in-person interview with a 3-person panel. I sent a thank you note later that day. I followed up again regarding the next steps, knowing nothing would happen over Thanksgiving week. I sent one last email stating that I assumed I wasn't being called in for the next steps, but still no answer. It's now December, and I never heard anything back, which is really rude. The whole process was awful. I honestly think that first email asking me to pick time slots was meant to be an automatic rejection, and they sent the scheduling one by mistake. The only reason I got the interviews was because I reached out to someone higher up asking why I would want to work there if this is how they treat people. Imagine how they treat their employees if this is how they treat candidates they're trying to recruit. My guess is pretty badly. Anyway, their loss, they missed out on a great candidate.
- Can you start by telling me about yourself?
HR Administrator
The recruiter at CyberCoders reached out really fast. But, this was honestly the worst and most unprofessional interview experience ever. The recruiter thought I was a great fit and had way more experience than what was needed for this entry-level gig. They said they weren't sure why I was even matched because they didn't want to have to train anyone for the job. It made no sense, and the more the manager talked, the weirder it got.
