The interview process was pretty standard. They asked some regular questions and gave me a tour of the campus. I did notice they could use more diverse employees. Overall, it was a good experience, but I ended up declining the offer for a job with better pay.

I applied online and after about a week, they reached out to schedule a phone interview. I spoke with the director about the job and my background. They mentioned they were doing phone interviews with about 12 candidates and would pick three for in-person interviews. By the end of that week, I got a call to set up an in-person interview for the next week. The in-person interview was with the director and assistant director and was about 45 minutes long. Then, a few other people from the building joined for another 15 minutes. A couple days after the interview, my references were contacted. The next day, I got a call saying I didn't get the job because someone else had more relevant experience.

The interview process was very pleasant and lacked the usual tension. The group setting made everyone feel quite at ease. If you have a background in higher education and customer service, you'll be well-prepared for the questions they ask.

Behavioral Presentation

Had a great initial interview with a panel of three, they were prepared and the chat was professional and interesting. After that, I was invited for an on-campus interview as one of three finalists. This full-day interview also went really well. Talking with all the faculty was informative, professional, and a good experience overall, no matter how it turns out. The Academic Dean was, however, pretty rude.
