It started with a standard recruiter call where they asked about my previous projects and my background with SQL and Python. After that, I had an interview with two people from one of the data teams, and it was a really nice and chill vibe. They gave me a dataset and asked me to do some aggregations using pandas. While I was working on it, they also asked me about how I'd deal with different data types and outliers. I didn't get through this round, but it seemed like a cool place to work.

It started with a take-home SQL test, then a live technical case interview, and finished with a hiring manager chat. The whole thing took about a month. Honestly, the process felt pretty biased because the HM got the final say regardless of how well I did in the technical parts, which felt like a waste of time.

First, a technical screen involving SQL and a business case, plus a test on using a scripting language like Python or R. Then, an on-site interview that includes talking with the Hiring Manager, discussing cross-functional collaboration (which depends on the team), diving into a business case, statistics, and experimentation, and finally a chat about your career history with someone outside of Data Science.
