Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Notion Labs.
Customer Success Manager
The process was good and straightforward with great communication. It moved quickly through several rounds: an HR screening, an interview with the hiring manager, a domain expertise interview, and a cross-functional interview. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I didn't get the job because I didn't have SaaS experience, but the people were great.
- Can you describe how you manage your time each day?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was a good experience, very attentive and smooth. I knew what to expect throughout and the team made sure I felt comfortable and informed. It included a recruiter screening, a hiring manager interview, a case study, a super day with a case presentation, and a values interview. The whole thing took about 2.5 months.
- What motivates you to excel at work?
Customer Success Manager
I spoke with a recruiter but decided not to move forward. I have nearly 10 years of experience in senior customer success roles, managing clients with eight-figure contracts, but the recruiter insisted on a more junior "enablement" position. The recruiter has only been at Notion for a few months. I'm not sure if there's a disconnect with leadership, but I'm very disappointed and upset. It seems like no effort was made to understand my value. It's a shame because I really like Notion's product.
- Can you introduce yourself?
