Application Support Specialist
My first interview was a phone call with the recruiter. It was a good experience, she was professional and nice to talk to. I got a good impression of the company from her. Then, I had a second interview, a video call with a Software Engineer. He asked me about my past jobs. He seemed not interested in asking any job-related questions and just ended the call suddenly. It was very unprofessional and gave me a bad impression of the company. The feedback I got was weird since no technical questions were asked in the second interview. Getting rejected is normal, but this felt like disrespect, which is not okay for a company like this.
- Can you give a high level overview of your previous experience?
Business Development Associate
I scheduled a meeting with the recruiter and had a week to prep. I researched the company, practiced potential questions, and networked with employees. On the interview day, the recruiter canceled the meeting just a couple of hours beforehand, with no call or explanation. I rearranged other commitments for this meeting, and honestly, it reflected poorly on their company culture. I messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn about it, but she didn't reply, even though she was active on the platform. I wouldn't recommend applying here.

Software Engineer
My experience interviewing with Notified was really disappointing. I got through all the interviews and they told me verbally that my offer was being processed. But then, after two weeks of me following up, all I got were vague answers and delays. It felt like they were either stalling or had found someone cheaper and didn't tell me. Instead of being straight with me, they made me wait and then blamed me when I asked what was going on. The hiring process shows how professional a company is and if they respect candidates, and Notified didn't do either. If this is how they treat people trying to join, I can only imagine how they treat current employees. Seriously, be careful if you're thinking about this company.
- Could you discuss API design?
- Were there any coding problems?
- Can you write a SQL query?
Event Producer
The interview process was pretty simple. First up was a phone call with a recruiter where they asked me about my past experience, challenges I've had, and what I think my best qualities are. After that, I had a meeting, either in person or on video, with the hiring manager or director. They wanted to know why I'd be a good fit for the job, how I handle pressure and fast environments, if I can read scripts well, and about my customer service abilities.
- Can you read scripting clearly and accurately?
