Software Engineer
So the interview was pretty cool, it had a bunch of technical rounds where they really dug into my Python, databases, web dev (like HTML, CSS, JS) and Pega stuff. Also had to do some problem-solving challenges, system design discussions, and chats with managers about teamwork, communication, and my tech skills. It was a good all-around check of what I can do.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Python?
- What's your experience with database management?
- How about your experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?
Software Development Engineer
First, there's a screening round using the NextLevel app, an AI tool. It covers OOPs, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, Networking, and Error Handling, and takes about 45 minutes. If you pass that, you move to a HackerRank Online Test, a coding challenge focusing on Problem Solving, Algorithms, and Data Structures, lasting around 105 minutes. Next, if you do well on HackerRank, you'll have a virtual technical interview with a panel. This part is about System Design, Coding, and Debugging, and usually takes about 90 minutes. Finally, there's a virtual interview with a technical panel and a hiring manager. They'll check your Problem-Solving, System Design, Cultural Fitment, and talk about your past internships, college projects, and related experiences. This last round is usually about 45 minutes.
- Given an array of integers, can you write a function to find the two numbers that add up to a specific target sum and return the indices of these two numbers?
Software Engineer
The interview process was good. There were 2 technical interviews, each lasting 1 hour. The technical interview level is medium. You need to be very strong in DSA and computer fundamentals like OS, DBMS, CN. Basic knowledge in SQL is also a plus. You have to solve one coding problem in front of them, which is not too difficult.
- Can you elaborate on your DSA knowledge?
- How would you rate your understanding of data structures and algorithms?
- Tell me about your grasp of fundamental computer science concepts such as operating systems, database management systems, and computer networks.
