- How are you doing today?
Software Engineer Intern
So you apply online with your resume and cover letter. Then, if they like it, they'll give you a call to screen you, asking about your experience and interest. If that goes well, you'll have your first in-person interview with the hiring manager and maybe some team members, lasting about 45-60 mins, focusing on your experience, skills, and cultural fit. After that, they might send you a skills assessment, like a coding challenge. If you ace that, you'll get a second interview with senior folks or leadership.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Line Cook
The first interview was pretty quick, about 30 minutes, and they asked some general questions. Then there was a second interview that was more practical, where I had to demonstrate my cooking abilities. The questions weren't that tough, pretty standard stuff.
- Could you demonstrate cooking a steak to medium well?
Customer Service Associate
Yeah it was good, alright, not bad, amicable, bearable. Actually no it was the best time of my life, I wish I could interview here every day. Not sure if I'd want the job though.
