Technical Behavioral Presentation

Applied online and got a call soon after to confirm they received my application and to schedule the interview. The first interview was a phone call with the Director, Assistant Director, and Manager. They asked about my analytical lab knowledge, explained the job, and answered my questions. The second interview was on-site. It started with an HR intro, then the Manager gave a lab tour, and I had short chats with the Director, Assistant Director, and experienced analysts. It was a good experience and gave me a clear idea of the role.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a technical interview with the hiring manager, and then I had an on-site interview. The group leaders and managers were friendly and asked me about my background and other general questions. However, the interviews with other team members, which were supposed to be informative, were not helpful at all. Instead of discussing their work experience and giving me insights into the company and team, they focused too much on asking questions to showcase their knowledge. Consequently, I didn't get the opportunity to ask them more about their experiences at the company.

I found a contact for HR through the company website and sent my resume even though I didn't see any open positions I felt I was qualified for. The next day, a hiring manager reached out. We had a phone interview that lasted about an hour, and it was mostly about my resume and related experience. At the end of the call, the manager said he would work out an offer with HR and that I should hear from them soon. I got my offer within 4-5 days and accepted.
