First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Registered Nurse
Had a phone call with the recruiter, it lasted about 20 minutes. After that, there was an in-person interview where I met with a panel of managers and the nurse educator. The recruiter got back to me within a week after the interview.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Registered Respiratory Therapist
The interview happened on Teams. It was supposed to be a panel with two educators, but they couldn't make it, so I interviewed with the two managers instead. Overall, it was a really smooth interview. They asked clinical and conflict resolution questions.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with a colleague or management decision and how you handled it.
Marketing Specialist
It started with a recruiter call to confirm basic info. Then, there were two separate 30-minute interviews with the hiring managers, who are at the manager and director levels. They went through my resume and asked about my professional background. The recruiter let me know if I was moving on or if that was the end of the process.
- Can you share your experience in uncovering consumer insights and subsequently creating campaigns?
- What marketing channels did you utilize, and what outcomes did you achieve?
- Where do you envision yourself in the next five years?

I interviewed with the manager and the educational coordinator for the unit. After our chat, I got to shadow a PCT on the unit. This gave me a chance to ask them more about what it's like working on the unit.
