They asked a bunch of customer service oriented questions. Like, how would you handle a difficult passenger? And tell me how you would handle a difficulty crew member. They basically wanted to know how well you work with people. They were interested in whether or not you had any international travel, as well as interactions with diverse groups of people.

It started with an online application and a questionnaire. Then, I had a call with a staffing company for an over-the-phone interview, where they asked general questions. A few weeks later, I got an email for an in-person interview in Boston at an airport hotel. It was a large group setting with many interviewers. I filled out another questionnaire, and we had a group session for general info before I waited for a one-on-one. First, I met a very nice Flight Attendant who calmed my nerves. Then, I met with a recruiter named Dean, who was also incredibly reassuring and stressed being myself and honest. I did just that, and he hired me on the spot! He even asked if I needed a hug, which I did because I was so happy. Fingerprinting and a drug test were done on-site and at their facility nearby. I also had a hearing test and eye exam. I went home and waited for the results and a call about training in Minneapolis. Three weeks later, I got the call – all tests cleared, and training starts in September. I was really impressed with how friendly everyone was, especially compared to other airlines.

The main office contacted me and told me I needed to travel to Minnesota for a drug test and a second interview. They covered all expenses. My advice is to be ready for a quick process because they want to get you back home fast.
