First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NorthStar Home.
Sales Representative
It was a good interview process. They wanted to learn more about me and my background. If they liked me enough to offer me the job after the second interview, they rushed me to make a decision and tried to make other career opportunities seem bad.
- In what ways would you be a valuable addition to our team?
Sales Contractor
I was flown in and given a room for the night at the companies expense. The interview took a few hours as we discussed compensation, work experience, and everything associated with why the opportunity at NorthStar Alarm would be a better opportunity than where I was at the time.
- What are your goals for 2014?
Marketing
After applying online and submitting my application, resume, cover letter, and online portfolio, I had a phone interview. Then, I filled out an experience questionnaire and went through 2 additional interviews.
- Can you describe your previous manager?
- If you had the chance, how would you have improved your previous boss's performance?
Installation Technician
The recruiter might decide if you get an interview and if you're qualified, it's really up to them. There probably won't be a formal interview process.
- Are you prepared to put in a lot of hard work this summer?
