First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Northrop Grumman.
Supply Chain Planner
The interview process moved very quickly once I applied. I interviewed with the hiring manager and their director, both of whom were recently promoted. The interview had regimented questions and followups.
- What are your leadership weaknesses?
Supply Chain Intern
I had a phone interview. The questions were pretty short and basically checked if I'd fit with the job duties and what they expect. They asked about my strengths, how they connect to the job, and why I think I'd be a good addition to the team. A main thing they asked about was what kind of work vibe and team setup I do best in - like if I like working with others, doing stuff on my own, or a bit of both. It felt more like a quick vibe check than a serious technical skills test.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with Northrop Grumman?
Procurement Analyst
It was a quick and simple interview. I met one-on-one with the Procurement manager. We reviewed the job description and then discussed my qualifications and experience. Although I lacked direct Procurement experience, my background in accounting and logistics proved very helpful.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- What aspects of your accounting background are relevant?
- How does your logistics experience apply to this role?
