The interview process was really smooth and straightforward. They made it easy to talk about my past experience. The questions weren't too difficult or overly technical, mostly just simple inquiries about my background and why I'm interested in the company. The whole process had two rounds.

I went through 5 interviews with 4 people, one each day. Then I had to do a write-up simulation and a presentation simulation. It felt like a lot and like I was giving away free work. They sent vague instructions by email and then I was penalized for not doing a better job with a group of 6 other employees. I also had to set up the Zoom link. I thought the presentation would be in person but it went virtual. My laptop had a cracked screen and they held that against me because I had trouble seeing everyone. It was really weird to be expected to engage with so many people for so many hours of my own time. I would never do so many hours of interviews unpaid again.

The interview process was pretty laid back. I spoke with the manager first, who was busy but nice. Then I talked to the Lead Maintenance Tech, who was really clear and easy to chat with. They mostly asked about my experience getting places ready, fixing appliances, and my HVAC skills. They also wanted to know how long I've worked in this field and asked some questions to see if I'd be a good fit for the team. There was also a quick quiz on general maintenance stuff.
