Case Worker
The interview process involved a phone interview, followed by a virtual first interview. After that, there was a second interview where I met with a panel of three interviewers. They tend to ask standard behavioral questions like 'tell me about a time' and also probe into your past experience.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with a difficult client?
- What steps did you take to resolve the client's issue?
- How do you handle and lessen challenging client interactions?
Workforce Development Specialist
I had a phone interview with a woman who seemed really interested in my resume. It felt like it went well, but then I didn't get any updates for about a month. I reached out to ask about the status of my interview and the decision, and didn't hear back until a day after I saw the same position listed as a volunteer role. And I didn't even apply for a volunteer position. Suddenly, the woman decided to respond and tell me they chose another candidate. Honestly, I'm pretty sure they actually found a volunteer instead of someone to get paid for the job.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Clinician
I had two interviews for the Bilingual Clinician position. The first was mostly with the program manager, who asked standard questions and some specific to the population served. Then, another person joined to test my Spanish. They were both really nice and made me feel comfortable. In the second interview, the program manager and director asked more clinical questions. It was a good experience overall.
- Can you share your experience working with immigrant youth?
- What's your background with trauma informed care?
- Tell me about your experience with groups.
Anonymous
The whole thing took like three months from applying to getting rejected. I just applied online and then like a month later they hit me up for a virtual interview. After that, I had to go to their office for a two-hour in-person interview. A month after that, the hiring manager emailed me a personalized rejection. They were clear about how long it would take and told me the salary after the first interview. It was slow but they were nice to talk to.
- Would you be comfortable wearing business attire and makeup?
