So first you apply online, then you send in your resume and cover letter. After that, there's a preliminary screening where you have to respond to some questions via video recording. Then, a panel will observe your teaching online. This is followed by an in-person panel interview. Finally, there's an email response exercise, and then a background check before we potentially make an offer.

There was a panel interview with three people asking about my previous experience, IT background, and customer service skills. After that, I had a one-on-one interview with the manager. They are looking for someone with a mix of technical abilities and good customer service. This is an entry-level role, so they want someone reliable who knows the college's culture and website. I'd recommend checking out the website to see what the help desk does, like the mynova portal and other web apps.

I put in an application via Human Resources and also sent emails to the deans at about six different campuses since there are six campuses. I think this was really important and they all got back to me. I ended up interviewing in person at two of the campuses, and got hired right away at one and then a bit later at the other.
