Behavioral Presentation Technical

I had an interview with the program faculty about my research and teaching. Then, there was a bigger interview with about 25 department faculty. I had to do a teaching demonstration, teaching a class on a topic chosen by the instructor and answering questions from students and faculty. I also gave a research presentation to the program faculty, where I had to defend my work. After that, I interviewed with the dean. We also took an informal tour of the campus.

Technical Behavioral

I had one 20 min phone call interview where they asked tech support questions. They were mainly looking for keywords and experience stories. About two weeks later, I went in for an in-person interview and met with a group of 4 interviewers. There were some slightly high-level technical questions and also some personality/behavioral questions. I got an offer about 5 weeks later. The offer process was a bit slow, but that's just how they operate.
