Behavioral

It was a committee style interview with open ended questions. The job has a diverse range of responsibilities, but the pay doesn't really match the demands of the job. Besides credential evaluation, the position requires supervising hourly employees. I'm glad I didn't get an offer from North Seattle because the college is having money issues and is laying off staff.

Behavioral Presentation

I had a panel interview with 5 people from different campus staff areas, including managers, staff, and faculty. It was a round robin question and answer session. I got a written offer before the interview. They asked standard industry questions, focusing on academic and people experience, customer service awareness, and student success. Knowledge of the college was helpful.

They had 1 group panel interview, with about 3-4 people from the department and 1 person from another department. They asked personality and knowledge questions. The knowledge questions were printed out and given to me a few minutes before the interview so I could go over them, and it was okay to take notes into the interview.
