After sending in my application, I had an initial chat with HR. Then, there was an assessment day where I was with 10 other people. This day involved interviews and group activities. I got an offer the next day. It was cool to meet people from different parts of the business.

The interview consisted of two 30-minute sessions, each with two interviewers. Three of the interviewers were Vice Presidents, and one was a senior consultant who was an alum from my school. It felt pretty conversational, but they were definitely assessing some basic skills and values. It's important to know the company (their local delivery model, client base, and services) and be able to explain why you're interested. They'll ask about your past experience, and it's helpful to frame it as a "generalist" rather than a "specialist" skillset. North Highland really emphasizes "experienced consultants," so if you don't have much consulting experience, make sure to show you have growing responsibility and are comfortable with project-style work.
