Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty standard interview. They asked typical questions about how I teach and my general approach. There were also some questions about how I'd handle challenging student situations, like what I'd do if a student was being difficult or how I'd build trust with them. They also wanted to know about my past teaching experience.

You'll have a face-to-face interview with a panel of three department managers and one person from IT. They'll start by going over the job description, what's expected, and the work schedule. The whole thing should take about 30-45 minutes, depending on your answers and if you ask questions. After that, be ready for a one-hour test. So, plan on being there for 2 to 3 hours in total. Make sure to get there at least 15 minutes early and have your driver's license to get into the building.

It started with a basic phone chat, and then I had to go in for an in-person meeting where they hit me with some tough questions and scenarios. It was a panel of different administrators from various departments and areas. The questions they asked felt pretty standard, like they were just going through the motions. The vibe was professional, but they were kind of holding back. However, the committee was nice and gave me some useful feedback.

Behavioral

I filled out a questionnaire that was meant to identify my personality type. It wasn't a test with right or wrong answers, but rather a way to see how I would respond in different situations or how well I work with others. The interviewer put me at ease by telling me upfront that there were no right or wrong answers. It took about 10 minutes, and that was it.

  • What are your thoughts when you leave work?
