First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at North Country HealthCare.

The interview was a laid-back behavioral chat with two supervisors and a coworker. They asked a bunch of questions, and then chatted about their tenure and what they really liked about working there.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered?
Patient Navigator
First, they told me what the job would be about. Then they asked me a few questions about myself. The questions weren't too hard, mainly asking about what I did in my past jobs.
- How does your past experience prepare you for this role?
Human Resources
It was a pretty good interview, I liked that they used the predictive index test. The team was friendly and they did a good job explaining the role. I felt pretty comfortable and welcomed.
- In what ways do you contribute to community healthcare?
Patient Services Representative
I applied online and heard back from them within a week. The whole thing took about two weeks because we had to reschedule the interview a few times. Before the actual interview, I had to take this "P.I." test, which is a Predictive Index test. It's basically a three-part questionnaire that's supposed to predict your personality and how you'd fit into a team and work with a manager. It was pretty accurate, though maybe not perfectly spot on. When I got to the interview, there were three people there. One person asked standard interview questions like asking for an example of excellent customer service, if I had healthcare experience, and about my multi-tasking and phone skills. They also asked me to rate my customer service skills. The interview wrapped up with them asking why they should hire me. They said I should expect an offer in about a week to week and a half. Even though I didn't get the offer, I thought it was a good learning experience for future interviews.
- On a scale of 0-5, how would you rate your customer service skills?
