First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at North Bristol NHS.
Associate Assistant Practitioner
I had an in-person interview with the clinical lead. They asked me about my knowledge of AAC, why I'm interested in working with AAC, my understanding of other services, the software we use, and the screening process.
- Could you tell me what you know about AAC?
- What makes you want to work with AAC?
- Do you have knowledge of other services?
Trainee Nursing Associate
My interview was during covid so might be a bit different. I went in for my interview, and I was in front of 4 judges on a panel who each asked their own questions. They are looking for you to understand the PIN aspect and accountability. They also ask about a time you worked as a team, give lots of examples and really show off your skills.
- Can you explain your understanding of this role?
- Tell me about yourself.
- Tell me about your career history.
Health Records Assistant
I first applied using the TRAC/Health Jobs form. Later, I got an email inviting me to an interview. It was in-person at the hospital admin department, with two interviewers from the health records team. It felt pretty relaxed and informal.
- Can you discuss your understanding of confidentiality?
- Describe how you would handle difficult behavior.
- Explain the significance of accurate data entry.
Registered Nurse
The open day was very straightforward, and I was contacted within an hour. The recruiter was very pleasant and supportive. They asked me scenario-based questions about what I could contribute to the unit. They were very helpful and gave me time to get ready.
- How would you respond if you accidentally administered the wrong medication?
