First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at North Atlantic Industries.
Quality Analyst Intern
First, there was a quick phone screening. Then, I had an on-site interview with the internship program starter and the head of my department. They also gave me a tour of the place afterwards.
- Could you describe a project you've worked on and specify the computer program utilized for it?
Electrical Engineer
It was pretty chill, not a lot of pressure and pretty informal. The main thing is to really know your stuff and do your homework beforehand. The interviewer was pretty relaxed too, you just gotta show you're interested and eager to learn.
- What are your expectations for an engineering job?
Stockroom Clerk
It was a pretty straight forward interview. Great questions, I was able to go view more of the floor of the company and get a feel for the environment. Nice place
- How would you deal with customers
Designer
I went through 3 different sessions for the Designer role. The interviews were pretty technical; if you're familiar with your area, you should be able to handle most of it. The team at North Atlantic was polite and seemed to know their stuff. Some questions were really specific about CAD software or design methods, while others were more general.
- Would you be interested in dedicating your time full-time to maintaining one of their product line machines?
