First, a representative called me about my resume. She asked some questions about where I live, my past work experience, what I'm looking for in a career change, and why I'm interested in life insurance. Then, she scheduled a phone interview with a manager in my area. After talking with him, I was really interested and he thought I'd be a good fit. After that, I scheduled a time to meet up, and he offered to do a ride-along so I could see what a typical day looks like.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I met with the Regional Manager in a conference room to talk about the opportunity. Since I was selling Health Insurance for another company and it was becoming unmanageable, we were looking for alternatives. They explained how leads were generated, the structure of the presentation, the application processing, and how the contracts worked. Then, the Regional Manager took me out in his car to demonstrate the process. He went cold door knocking in my town (even though he was from two states away) without any leads and showed me how to write two policies and put them in my name. It convinced me.

I went in for an on-site interview. First, they asked general questions about me and my motivations for wanting the job. Then, we discussed my availability and how the role functions. I also had the chance to talk with managers and ask them questions.
