First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at North American Partners In Anesthesia.
Payment Specialist
The hiring manager introduced their department, gave details about the job functions and work procedures, and asked about my previous work and former experiences. It was a pleasant interview process.
- Can you tell me about your previous work and your experience in the US?
Knowledge Management Specialist
The first chat was a quick one with HR, who mentioned the team was keen to meet. Next up was a video interview. A few concerning signs popped up due to the team's apparent overload and their pushback on a content audit for a knowledge migration initiative. Their internal KB's information architecture was a mess, but they seemed resistant to a real content migration plan, which is odd given a 3-month timeline allows ample time for preparation. I was told they'd follow up, but then heard nothing. Good riddance, probably.
- What's your experience with the duration of content migration projects?
Accounts Receivable Specialist
The interviewers seemed like they were just going through the motions, so I matched their energy. The whole thing took only 15 minutes and the conversation didn't flow as well as my previous revenue cycle/medical billing interviews. When I asked how big their department was, they seemed unsure how to answer. Their previous reviews are quite revealing; their approach felt forced.
- What experience do you have with bundling services?
- How would you manage a claim with no authorization?
- Do you know Medicare?
Specialist
Had three interviews that moved really fast and then they ghosted me. In almost every interview, the team member seemed unprepared and I had to prompt them to ask questions. They kept saying I was ‘super qualified’ and seemed excited about my candidacy, but then there was radio silence. For two interviews, the interviewers were 5 minutes late. If their internal recruitment practices are any indication of how they treat employees, I would stay away.
