The interview process was quick and the interactions with the team were positive. I received an offer initially, but it was withdrawn within a week without explanation. While there may have been internal reasons, the lack of communication made the experience disappointing.

The interview process took place over 2 weeks and involved about 6 hours of my time, plus a full workday for a role that wasn't management and had a mediocre salary. It started with a 1-hour phone call with person 'A'. Then, I had multiple timed assessments using Gorilla Testing, which took about 1.5 hours and required me to be on camera for screenshots. Following that was another 1-hour phone call with person 'A'. Next, I had to upload a video of myself selling something to YouTube or another social media platform, which was very time-consuming. Finally, I had a 1-hour phone call with the regional manager from the East Coast. This person was unlikeable and condescending. During the interview, he asked a subjective question about handling a customer situation, and after I answered, he told me the 'right answer' which was the company policy. At the end, he asked if I'd attend a customer meeting/conference at the local warehouse if an offer was extended. After this, person 'A' invited me to attend this meeting, which was an all-day event, without extending an offer.

So first I had like a quick chat on the phone, then I went to one of the districts for an in person with the Area Sales Manager. After that, they sent me an online assessment to complete. The last step was a phone interview with the Regional Sales Manager, basically to make sure I was the right fit.

We started with an intro call on the phone, then had an official phone interview, and finally an in-person interview. I was told to prep for the in-person by learning about the industry, key terms, and company details. Lots of great candidates applied, but I was still considered because of my background and how much I wanted the job.
