First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Noregon Systems.
Sales Representative
This was the best interview experience I've ever had. The inside recruiter and the Dir. of Sales did everything they promised. The process was detailed, but they really respected my time. I always knew where I stood, which was great! It never felt like they were just going through the motions.
- Regarding the management of a large and undeveloped geographic territory, what would be your proposed strategy?
Product Support Specialist
So there were three rounds. First was a technical one, then a situational one, and then a cultural one.
- How would you determine what antivirus is installed?
- Can you explain the steps to connect to the internet?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Software Engineer
So first you talk to HR, just to see if you're still interested. Then there's a quick technical interview on basic OOP stuff over video. If you pass that, they'll have you come in for an on-site interview. That one is more detailed, checking if you really know your basics. Make sure to answer short and sweet, or they might not take you too seriously. After those first parts, HR will bring you in for another interview. The team is smart, but some of the senior engineers can be pretty rude.
- Could you explain what a Linked List is?
Product Support
It was a pretty relaxed process, everyone I met was quite friendly. Usually, there are two separate interviews, but this time they were combined into a single 3-hour block. I really liked all the interviewers. They were all laid-back, and it wasn't the intense grilling I was expecting.
- Can you explain how to navigate to the task manager?
- What are the steps to open the command prompt?
