The Noname HR team partnered with an external company to find me and handle the interview process. The recruiter was helpful in getting me ready for the interviews and kept in touch. It started with a series of interviews, beginning with the COO, and then two technical interviews. These technical interviews included a two-part presentation to check my security knowledge and speaking skills. The last interviews were with the HR team. I liked the process and talking with everyone. They made an offer quickly and were clear about what they expected.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Prepare a two-part, hour-long presentation. The first part should cover a technology stack you know well.
  • For the second part of your hour-long presentation, perform a deep dive into API security findings you can identify and explain using API security testing tools.

The recruiter was very nice. I mentioned I don't have experience with Cloud and Linux. The recruiter then checked with the team leader and got back to me in a few hours to say it wasn't relevant. I thought it was good that she got back to me quickly and didn't leave me hanging.

Technical Presentation

Noname's hiring process was super fast and efficient. A third-party recruiter reached out, and after they looked at my resume, I was asked the next day to schedule a meeting with their COO. The COO then moved me straight to the technical part, which included a technical take-home assignment, a presentation about a product, and a technical demo. I got an offer 15 days after the recruiter first contacted me. The team really hustled to work around my deadline for another offer I had pending. This all happened across a 10-hour time difference, and the talent and HR folks were really on the ball and responsive the whole time!
