It was a ridiculous process. Even with a PhD and 2 years of relevant experience, the interviews felt like high-school brainteasers. They seemed to test rote memorization of common problems rather than actual skills relevant to the job. This was for 3 consecutive rounds. Then, I got ghosted by HR after asking for an update. I was aware there were at least 2 more rounds planned, which isn't surprising given the low quality of the initial ones. To add to the frustration, the interviewer was 15 minutes late for the first round with hardly an apology. Also, for 2 out of the 3 rounds, the interview coordinator forgot to send the invite, and I had to chase them the day before. Total chaos.
