It was a pretty straightforward process, mostly asking about your background and how it fits the job. They had a two-step interview: first with HR, then with the hiring manager. No tests or anything extra to do.

The process was pretty easy and straightforward: first there was a screening call with an external recruiter, then an interview with the head of communications, and a third interview with a senior Comms officer from the same team. The questions were quite simple and nothing out of the ordinary came up. Sadly, I was completely ghosted after the third interview and never heard back from anyone, even though I let them know my availability to hold the final interview while I was on holiday abroad. The salary and package were on the low side, around 45,000£.

I had an initial informal chat with the company back in November. The people interviewing me were nice and seemed genuinely interested. It felt pretty laid-back, and most questions were pretty standard. A couple of them were a bit out of the blue for a first chat, especially with how little time I had to get ready. What was a bummer, though, was the communication afterward. They said I'd hear back within a week, but I followed up and still got nothing. It's a drag to put time into an interview and then just be ghosted, especially when they gave a timeline. So, while the interview itself was okay because of the interviewers, the lack of updates really soured me on their hiring process.

It started with a good initial screening and first stage, the hiring managers were knowledgeable and inspiring. You should prepare for a technical section, core competency, and behavioral questions. The recruiter was friendly and gave prompt feedback. The final stage was a bit strange for me, they really focused on conflict management and went straight into behavioral questions that seemed loaded and geared towards negativity before I could share positive examples. They asked the same question in different ways and I was interrupted twice by HR, which felt stifling and lacking warmth. Maybe it was the end of the day, but the tone was too much of a red flag.
