First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Noble Systems.
Senior Software Engineer
First I spoke with the R&D director, then I had a tech panel with 2 senior software developers. They were nice guys and had vast expertise. I got quick feedback after each meeting.
- Can you tell me about your experience with in-depth C++ concepts?
- Could you solve some algorithm problems?
- We'd like to discuss some design problems with you.
Software Trainer
The interview process involved 5 interviews, each lasting an hour, spread across 2 months. One of these included a 20-minute PowerPoint presentation that I had to prepare. Communication throughout was terrible; they never informed me about the next steps or who I'd be meeting, and honestly, they seemed disorganized themselves. During the final interview, I gave my presentation to 5 people, including 2 seniors, none of whom knew who the main facilitator was. It felt like a lack of organization from senior staff.
- Given you'll need to learn a lot independently, are you an independent learner?
- Do you have a technical orientation?
- Can you tell us about your previous job and the reasons for leaving?
Project Manager
This organization was unprofessional, and they ignored multiple follow-ups after I completed 4 rounds of interviews. The interview process was lengthy, and they didn't respect my time or availability. One interview call was very late because it was from the US. They gave me a verbal offer, but then rescinded it via email, saying the role was put on hold. This experience revealed a lot about their company culture and how they operate. It turned out to be a good thing!
- Can you share details about your background?
- What is your experience?
- Why do you think you are a good fit for this position?
Technical Trainer
It was a three-step interview process. First, a quick call to go over the basics of the job. Then, I met with the VP to talk more about the role, the work environment, and they answered my questions. Lastly, I had to give a presentation to the other trainers to show off my presentation skills.
- Tell me about your technical skills.
- Estimate the number of ice cream cones sold in Central Park during the summer.
