I applied on the Noble Group website. An HR person called me two days later to schedule a 30-minute phone interview with them. During the interview, they spent 10 minutes talking about the job, 15 minutes asking about my background and why I'm applying, and 5 minutes for my questions. They said they'd email me about the next steps. Then, I had a second interview over Skype with the HR director, which lasted about an hour. It was similar to the first but more detailed, asking about my knowledge of commodities trading, hedging, and the cotton industry. The director mentioned the initial recruiter would email me. Finally, I had a 30-45 minute phone interview with the head Cotton Trader. This one focused more on my personality, work ethic, stress management, and conflict resolution rather than technical stuff.

So Noble America came to my school to interview for their Trader Trainee role. First, I had a 1:1 chat with a current trader. It was pretty straightforward, asking about stuff on my resume and some situation-based questions. There was also this 4-page assessment, no time limit, took me like 30 mins. Then I waited like a month and a half to hear back. They then invited me for a second round in PA, but had to reschedule 'cause the traders weren't around. Honestly, the whole hiring thing was a super long and kinda messy process.
