First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nixon Power Services.
Customer Service Operations Manager
First, there was an HR Talent screening where they asked general questions about my skills, past work, and what I expect to earn. Then, I had a Teams interview with HR Talent and the Hiring Manager (HM). The HM interviewed me from his car without his camera on, which was a bit weird and made it hard to read his reactions. The organization seemed professional and the interview felt like it went well. I sent a Thank You note right away and followed up later, but I never heard back. The next step was supposed to be an in-person interview with the HM, a peer, and a direct report.
- Are you capable of implementing tools and processes for KPI measurement?
Inside Sales Engineer
I had 4 phone calls for this job, starting with HR and ending with the VP of Sales. They were mostly typical questions, and I felt like they cared more about whether I'd fit in than my actual skills, which was okay since it was an entry-level role.
- Imagine an article about you in 30 years: what would its headline say?
Inside Sales Engineer
There were about 4 interviews, including an in-person one. It was pretty straightforward, but you really need to know your stuff, especially concerning your past experience and how it applies here. When they flew me out for the in-person interview, it was a great experience, and they really took good care of me. Overall, a good process.
- Can you tell us about your experience?
- How can your background help you in this role?
- What is your understanding of our products?
Major Accounts Coordinator
The interview process was quite straightforward. I spoke with the hiring manager, who was very open about the role and the company. The questions asked were relatively simple and easy to answer. She provided a clear explanation of the position and the qualifications they were looking for.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
