They'll offer you a job then ghost you! They like to make you jump through pointless hoops like a circus monkey during the interview. It's not transparent at all and a big waste of time.

I had 3 interviews over about 3 weeks, first a phone screen, then a zoom interview, and finally a culture fit interview. I was contacted via LinkedIn.

So, an internal recruiter reached out about the job. Everyone I talked to was really nice and professional. The interview steps were: first, a call with the recruiter, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, I had to do two writing assignments. Then came the main interview with higher-ups and a coworker, which was not a good experience for me. Lastly, I had a casual coffee chat with someone from another department. They really seem to hire top talent, and you could tell during the process. Everyone seemed sharp and driven. The bad part was the formal interview. I don't like when interviews try to stress you out on purpose. I get why they might do it for this job, but it felt poorly done. We did four 10-minute role-plays pretending to deal with really angry or incompetent customers. They let you make up product details since you don't know the product, but the interviewer wouldn't go along with it. It felt more like a 'sell me this pen' game trying to quickly make up stuff instead of showing real customer service skills. My suggestion would be to give candidates some basic info, like it's a twist gel pen, it's cheaper in bulk, etc. That way, you could see how they explain things and get a better idea of their actual customer service skills.
