First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nirma.
Junior Assistant
Started with a written test, then a practical computer test. Ended with a personal interview with a panel including the HOD and HR Head. The interview was easy. Received an offer via email within 3 days.
- Can you introduce yourself in writing in English?
Graduate Engineering Trainee
The interview process was pretty smooth. The interviewer was great and just wanted to see if I'd stay with Nirma long-term, which is what the company is looking for. If you do well, you might even get a plant visit.
- The interviewer was interested in hearing details about pumps.
Oracle Developer
My interview was in May 2015 and it was a one-day process. It involved filling out a lot of forms, an online test, and a practical test for the IT department. A good thing about Nirma is they cover return travel expenses for candidates from outside Ahmedabad and also provide food for everyone attending the interview.
- Could you explain how to create a matrix report using Oracle?
Graduate Engineer Trainee
The interview process was good, but the pay is really low. They seem to want laborers who just follow orders, not engineers. They expect this low salary along with a long employment bond and work in dangerous, toxic locations.
