First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nippon Steel.
Marketing Coordinator
The interview process typically includes an initial phone call, followed by a face-to-face meeting focused on your communication skills, motivation, and fit for a fast-paced sales environment. They also gave me exact feedback on my performance, which they want me to improve in the future.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- Could you walk me through your previous work experience?
Outside Sales Representative
I had a quick phone call first, and then we had a scheduled zoom meeting. It was a pretty standard meeting, but I had trouble understanding the interviewer and they couldn't answer some of my questions about the company.
- Can you discuss your relevant work experience?
Sales Executive
it was good. they were punctual and experienced. talked about asked about the company, the job, and the profession. asked where i see myself in 5 years, why my education is different than the job i'm applying for etc.
- About the job description, why do you want it?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Communication Analyst
It was quite weak. They didn't really probe my knowledge deeply, relying only on what I said. I think they should have tested my skills more. There was a lot of irrelevant chit-chat during the interview, with personal questions.
- Do you know the company?
