Waste of time! Confusing interview process! Every interview each person was late but had hard time stops! Made it to the third round to meet with CEO. The first two we’re with the sales leaders which we’re great but the third interview was with the CEO who asked the same questions as if I was in the first interview. Seems as though he was not prepared when I entered the third interview and ultimately a waste of time! I have went through a lot of sales interviews in my career and have never had an experience like this! The CEO should delegate the process especially for an entry level position.

I was contacted by the recruiter and then had a call with the CEO. We talked mostly about my attainment and he told me about the company. After that, they gave me a prospecting project. It was supposed to take 3 hours but I spent more time to make it look polished. Then I had a call with the sales manager. He wasn't sure about the timeline or if they had a need. The recruiter called me the next day to say they weren't moving forward. This is never easy to hear, but I appreciate them letting me know quickly. My only feedback is to not have candidates invest time in a project if you don’t have a need. No one has time to jump through unnecessary hoops.

The interview process was pretty standard for an engineering role, involving a phone screen and then a multi-session onsite interview. Although Nightfall doesn't have a detailed interview website like some larger companies, the recruiter provided a thorough preparation guide for the virtual onsite after the phone screen, covering both the process and question types. I found the interviews to be conversational, and they allowed me to use my preferred IDE. All the interviewers were friendly, which helped me perform my best. I also appreciated that Nightfall offered me several weeks after the offer to manage my other interview processes, which was respectful of my time and a welcome relief from the usual candidate stress.

Recruiting reached out about a new opening. The hiring process was quick, so I figured it's an efficient org. I did a detailed exercise about my experience and how I'd handle some scenarios. After they reviewed it, I met with the CEO to discuss my exercise responses and past experience. He spent extra time giving me a product demo, which sold me on the company. Then, I chatted with the CTO and an early hire to learn about the company culture. It all went well, and I got an offer! Excited to start soon.
