So first, I had an initial call with a recruiter. Then, there was a second interview with HR. The third interview was in person, and it had a 30-minute math test with some tricky questions. I also had to make a PowerPoint presentation, no more than 5 slides, and give a 10-minute talk on any topic I wanted in front of five people in a conference room. It finished up with questions from the hiring manager and others. The whole thing took about an hour to an hour and a half.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a 3 step interview process. The first interview was a phone call with HR to see if you're a good fit for the company and position. The second interview was also on the phone, but this time with the sales manager. This is a more technical interview where they try to get a better feel for you as a person. The third interview was on-site. You have to take a 30 minute math test, give a presentation in front of the managers and then have another short interview with the managers.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Other

I sent in my resume and HR called me back in 2 days. I had an initial phone interview for about 1.5 hours with HR, they were nice. Then I had another phone interview with the hiring manager, this one was shorter, about half an hour, more of a chat. The last interview was on-site and took about 2 hours. I had to do a 10-minute tech presentation and a 30-minute math test with some basic math and word problems. The rest of the time was a panel interview. Overall it would have been good, but one interviewer was really condescending and unprofessional.

You'll need to chat with managers in Japanese, as Nichia is a Japanese company. All sales and sales support roles require communication with HQ staff in Japanese, not English. They won't bombard you with questions, but you gotta show what you know about the company and how much you want this job.
