Technical Support Analyst
I went through a few interviews. It started with a phone call, then a video chat, and finally an in-person meeting. When I got there, the manager of the company they were contracting with, nFrastructure, met me. It felt like a really professional interview. He was dressed in a suit and we talked for about 30 minutes, and he seemed really interested. After that, I met with the nFrastructure manager for another interview. This one wasn't as professional. The interviewer wasn't dressed well, and he seemed distracted, with people coming in and out of the office. He rushed me out and said they'd let me know in two weeks. I had to reach out after four weeks, and then they told me about a 'hiring freeze.' I wasn't impressed with the company. They mentioned great benefits, but looking at the insurance, a $6,500 deductible isn't great if you've ever seen other insurance plans. Plus, the pay they offered was below average for the role.

Field Technician
Had a basic interview with both the HR Manager and my direct report. I took a questionnaire, reviewed company policy, and signed it electronically. Both managers were nice and answered all my questions. My manager considered me for a permanent position, which I didn't get, but at least I was considered. He also offered a two-week extension assignment after my contract work was done.
- Are you available to travel extensively and work well under pressure?
Operations Technician
It was a straightforward interview. The manager asked me some questions about my past jobs. I was asked about how I handled finishing certain tasks, and to share a difficult task I faced, either professionally or personally.
- Can you describe your experience working in a team to complete a task under a tight deadline?
Field Technician
The hiring manager or potential supervisor will spend about 30 minutes discussing the role and company culture. You'll also be asked about your experience with job-related topics, such as troubleshooting.
- Are you open to traveling for this role?
