Applied through an off-campus drive. Went through two technical rounds, both focusing on DSA. The first round had two LeetCode coding questions to code on google docs. The second round also had a DSA question, but the problem statement wasn't clearly explained by the interviewer, making it hard to find the solution.
- What is your approach to finding the duplicate number in an array, referencing LeetCode problem 287?
- Can you explain how to merge k sorted arrays?
Clinical Specialist
This was an online interview via Zoom, based on my previous profile. The focus was on learning ECGs and their interpretations. I was asked a few questions about data and some behavioral questions too. It was a friendly chat, and the interviewers seemed highly qualified and approachable. They cared more about my thought process than getting the exact answer.
- Can you explain how you would interpret specific ECG readings and identify any associated changes?
- Do you have any questions regarding data interpretation?
- Could you share some of your experiences related to behavioral aspects of the job?
Frontend Developer
So I had an initial call where they told me about the company and asked about my background, job, and salary. Then they said there would be 3 technical interviews. The first one was about JS and my past work; they asked me to build a recursive comment thingy with replies. The second technical round involved a 'two sum' type problem and making a basic snake and ladder game. The third tech interview was more about my past experience and general architecture stuff, plus more company info. After all that, they ghosted me even though I followed up. Total waste of time.
- Can you tell me about your experience with JavaScript and React?
Product Manager
This was one of the most disrespectful interview experiences. Two of the people I met were nice and took the time to chat and understand my thinking. However, my final round was with someone named Mohit, who was very unprofessional, disrespectful, and mean. He seemed to have a personal issue because a 23-year-old from IIT got to the final round for a PM role. He sarcastically said, 'You are IIT, you will work only with elite people' about four times. As a senior person, he should have put his personal feelings aside. I was really hurt because of how much effort I put into the assignments and other rounds. I'm a bit disappointed with HR for not taking action after I told them about my issues and for not giving me proper feedback on why I was rejected.
- Given that I'm from IIT and should know these things by heart, explain the working of a telescope with a ray diagram.
- Explain use cases addressed by Google Maps and how it can be improved.
