they asked me to explain how the merge and conquer algorithm works, and then write the code and demonstrate its working with an example. I was also asked about Dijkstra's algorithm in a similar way.

I applied online and HR reached out about a week later to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. About a week after that, I had a 45-minute call with the hiring manager. They explained the company and the job, and asked some basic questions about my background, my experience with wireless tech, and why I wanted the job. A couple of weeks later, I came in for an in-person interview that lasted about 4 hours. I met with 6 people I'd be working with. The first was a senior engineering manager who hit me with some really tough technical questions right away, then a few easier ones. I tried to tie my past experience to my answers. The other interviews were more relaxed, mostly talking about me and my background. One of them was HR, who covered benefits and asked about my salary expectations. A couple weeks after that, HR called with a verbal offer. The paperwork came by FedEx overnight. I got a great impression of the people and the office seemed nice, like people enjoyed working there. My advice: be ready for tough questions and don't freak out if you don't know everything. I didn't have perfect answers for everything but stayed calm and it turned out okay.
