Customer Service Representative
I spoke with HR and the lead manager first, and they asked me some questions. Then, the manager of the person I was talking to joined. She asked me some questions too, and I did my best to answer them, mentioning that I enjoy talking to people on the phone and am a good listener.
- Can you share your past customer service experiences and how you'd handle specific customer scenarios?
- What are your experiences in customer service and how would you handle particular customer situations?
Sales Representative
I was kept waiting in the lobby for a very long time. The HR lady didn't pick up until my second call, which made me think they might be understaffed or disorganized. I ended up sitting in what looked like a storage room for another 10 minutes before my interviewer arrived. The interviewers were dressed casually in jerseys, suggesting a relaxed work environment. The interview itself involved a few questions related to the sales role I was applying for, and then it was over. They showed me out afterward.
- Could you rate your computer skills on a scale of 1 to 10?
Manager
The interview process was very thorough, where they discussed the job as if it were already mine, but then they didn't call me back. The people were really nice, but it felt like a waste of time. In a way, I'm glad they didn't call me back because another opportunity opened up, so it's their loss, not mine!
- Were you looking for a temporary or long-term position?
Sales Associate
The interview process was very pleasant. The interviewer was kind and very attentive, and encouraging throughout the interview. I never felt uncomfortable. It was easygoing yet precise. The work environment is intense but satisfying. You get out of it what you put into it.
- How would you approach engaging a client?
