So at NextLabs, the interview was pretty structured and professional. It kicked off with an HR screening, then I chatted with a peer interviewer. After that, I had to present my experience portfolio and go over it. Then, another peer interviewer session happened, followed by a final interview with the CEO. To wrap things up, they did a few reference checks. The interviews touched on technical skills, what I've accomplished, and how I'd handle certain situations, basically testing my problem-solving and communication skills. It felt tough but fair, and a good way to check my marketing chops and how I interact with people.

I received an audio interview link initially where I had to record my answers. There was a time limit for each question, and I had to record and submit the audio within that time. After that, I was given a machine task with a 7-day deadline. I worked hard to make the task as perfect as possible, but unfortunately, I received no reply or feedback after submitting it. I would have been happy even with just some feedback or a response.

The whole process took about 5 weeks. It started with a phone interview with some project experience questions and basic C++ and assembly language questions, like the size of a bool. A week before that, I had onsite interviews, which were 4 rounds. I felt I answered everything well and they seemed satisfied. A few days later, HR called to discuss sponsorship and salary expectations. A week after that, they asked for references. Another week later, HR called again, saying they were interested but the CEO was on vacation, so they couldn't give an offer yet. Then, three weeks ago, I followed up with HR and was told I'd get an offer by the end of that week. But on Friday, Nextlabs called and said the CEO disapproved the offer, ending the process.

I applied and interviewed for Product Manager at Nextlabs Singapore. The whole thing took about 3 months. After my resume got shortlisted, they sent me an Employment Application Form to fill. A few weeks later, I had my first interview with two Engineering Managers from Singapore. It was a two-hour interview, split into two one-hour sessions with each of them. They asked about my work history, how my current company is structured and its processes, and some decision-making and behavioral questions. They also talked about the company's existing products. The next interview was with a Product Manager in the USA, again after a few weeks' gap. The final interview was with the CEO, which was quite long, over an hour. The CEO asked various questions about my current work, shared his vision for the products, what he values most, and his expectations for the Product Manager. Following that, they did reference checks, sending a list of subjective questions to three references I provided earlier. After that, there was silence for a month. I contacted HR for an update and was told they were in the final stages. That was the last I heard. I generally liked the interview process and talking to everyone. It would have been nice to know the outcome, even if it was a rejection, to avoid waiting for months after clearing all rounds.
