A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn because of my prior experience in the UCaaS industry with a competitor. We had an initial call, then I had two video interviews with the hiring managers. They asked pretty standard questions, and both managers asked the same ones, which felt inefficient. The second interviewer seemed disengaged, which made me realize I wouldn't accept an offer even if one was made. I considered withdrawing but decided against it. Luckily, no offer came. The culture seemed like a high-pressure, 'bro-culture' sales environment.

I applied online, the application wasn't too long but definitely not the easiest. A recruiter called me the very next day to go over my resume and set up an interview for the following day. I then met with two sales managers who asked me some specific scenario questions. They also reviewed my resume, asked about my self-perception (strengths, weaknesses), and my knowledge of VoIP products. The managers were great, and the process was fast and a good experience.

First, there was an HR call for a pre-screen. After that, I had two interviews and had to do a role-play phone call. The sales managers came in as a pair and went through my resume, asking questions. They mostly talked about themselves and how great the company is. Now that I work there, I hear them joke about how they have to lie and will openly read resumes and joke about them. I shouldn't have accepted the job but I just graduated and don't have much experience.
