I saw the posting for Senior Software Engineer (USA) on a job board and applied online since my decade of experience in healthcare IT development perfectly matched their requirements. About three weeks later, a senior talent acquisition specialist emailed me requesting two date and time options for a phone interview. I provided my availability, but they never responded. I've since learned that this company commonly ghosts candidates and has unprofessional recruiters. Given their primary development hub is in India, I suspect US-based IT roles are for non-critical applications, explaining the lack of professionalism and seriousness towards these positions.

HR reached out on Thursday to gather details like my experience, how soon I can join, and my salary expectations. They set up the first interview for Saturday. The first round, lasting an hour, focused on basic Java and coding challenges. After passing, the second round, also coding-focused with some Java collections, was scheduled for later the same day. I cleared that too. The manager round, the third, was set for the following Monday. It was a techno-managerial discussion, and I felt it went well. Afterward, I didn't hear anything, so I emailed HR for feedback. She called back and mentioned they needed someone who could start sooner, so my application is on hold. It's a bit confusing why they proceeded with interviews knowing my notice period.

So HR called me for an interview that had four rounds. First was a face-to-face technical, then a programming test that a team lead verified, then an interview with the manager, and finally with a US manager. I passed the programming test and technical interview, and they called me the next day for the remaining rounds. The next day, I had an HR round and a manager round. After that, they asked me to make some small changes to the program I had previously written, which I did. Then I had another technical interview, making it the 6th round. They mentioned scheduling a video conference with the US team and letting me know. After that, I didn't hear back or get any clarification from the company.
