Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NextGen Healthcare.
Project Manager
So after like 2 weeks of emails back and forth, I had this one phone interview. The guy was 20 mins late though, which was annoying. He said he liked my resume a lot and wanted me to come in person. He said a woman from HR would call me to set it up. I never heard back from anyone after that, even after I followed up. Turns out, from someone I know who works there, the guy who was supposed to interview me gave the job to his buddy instead, even though his buddy had no experience.
- How do you work with men?
Project Manager
Interview process was good and I answered all relevant questions. Still was not selected and disappointed with how candidates are being selected. I waited patiently and answered all questions, but after some days after we call, they informed me that I was not selected. The person who interviewed in the 2nd round, who is the decision maker in Bangalore, informed that our conversation was interesting, but still he played politics in not recommending me to the next round.
- Could you describe your understanding and experience with Agile methodologies?
Project Manager
I applied via LinkedIn and was contacted by a recruiter within three days. Then, I had several interviews with key stakeholders. All of the interviews were well-organized and aligned with the job description. The interviewers were friendly and supportive, making for a very positive experience. I'd happily reapply.
