It was for a contracted position and the interview was really direct and technical. They were more focused on the weekly hours and traveling of the position more than technical aspects. I was interview by 5 people that came with their own view of the position and I had a global view so it was good to have them all in the call. They send the offer 2 hours after the call.

After my resume passed the initial screening, I was sent an email to begin an on-demand interview. This involved recording myself answering questions, which felt typical of interviews but without talking to a live person. They gave me time to practice with the software and review my video beforehand, but the questions weren't revealed in advance, and I couldn't see my submitted answers. I had 30 seconds to prep and 2 minutes to record each response. After submitting the video, I didn't hear back for 8 weeks, at which point I got a generic rejection email. I had actually called the recruiter the week before getting that email because I was further along with another company and this role seemed more interesting. She didn't pick up or call back. I only managed to connect with her initially because she called me to let me know the on-demand email was coming, so I noted her contact info. It felt very impersonal and unprofessional, especially for a senior role. I also kept checking the company's career site, but there was no new information.

I had an initial screening interview with an HR rep. Then I had a one-on-one technical interview with a manager. The manager was very professional and asked reasonable questions. They are interested in people who can act as unicorns in their teams with a set of skills that extend beyond the typical roles.
