Data Scientist
The interview process had about 3-4 rounds. The last round was in person where I had to present a project with a slideshow. The earlier rounds were more behavioral, discussing my past experiences and technical questions about the tech stacks I know.
- How would you verify and validate a competitor's claim of achieving higher profits by acquiring X customers at a Y rate?
Data Scientist
Really standard interview process. First, they sent over a HireVue. After that, they set up a Zoom interview. Mostly, they asked about my resume and asked me to go into more detail on some of my projects. They also wanted to know why I'm applying to NextEra. They were pretty nice and easy to talk to.
- Describe a situation where you had trouble working with a team.
- Tell me more about the projects on your resume.
- Why are you interested in working at NextEra?
Data Scientist
I had a phone interview. They asked some basic questions, like 'Tell me about yourself,' and if I knew about the company, and why I chose NextEra Energy. They also asked about salary expectations. It felt pretty easy, but I didn't get an offer in the end.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Are you familiar with our company?
- What made you decide to join NextEra Energy?
